www.tricholab.eu Web Service Privacy Policy.

General information.

  1. The www.tricholab.eu web service is operated by Xeti sp. z o.o.
  2. The web service performs the functions of user information and their behavior capture in the following way:
    • By entering information in forms voluntarily.
    • By storing cookie files on terminal devices.
    • By collecting web server logs by the hosting operator.

Information in forms.

    1. The web service collects information provided voluntarily by the user.
    2. Moreover, the web service may record information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
    3. Data from the form are not provided to any third parties otherwise than upon consent of the user.
    4. Data provided in the form may form a set of prospects, recorded by the Web Service Operator in the register maintained by the General Personal Data Protection Inspector.
    5. Data provided in the form are processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g. in order to complete the process of service notification or commercial contact.
    6. Data provided in forms may be submitted to entities which perform the technical aspects of some services - in particular this applies to submission of information about the owner of a registered domain to entities which are Internet domain operators (most of all NASK), services that handle payments or other entities with which the Web Service Operator cooperates in this respect.

Cookie files information.

    1. The Web Service uses cookie files.
    2. The cookie files form IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the terminal device of the Web Service User and are intended to use the web sites of the Web Service. Usually cookie files contain the name of the web site they come from, the time of storage on terminal device and their unique number.
    3. The entity which places cookie files on the Web Service User's terminal device and obtains access to them is the Web Service Operator.
    4. Cookie files are used with the following aims:
      • to create statistics which help understand how Web Service Users use web site, which allows for improvement of their structure and content;
      • to maintain the Web Service User session (after login), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on each subsequent Web Service sub-site;
      • to determine user profile in order to display tailored materials in advertising networks, in particular in the Google network.
    5. As part of the Web Service, two general types of cookie files are used: session cookies and persistent cookies. The session cookies are temporary files which are stored in the terminal device of the User until logout, leaving the web site or closing the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored in the terminal device of the User for the period defined in cookie files parameters or until the User removes them.
    6. The web browsing software usually allows as default the storage of cookie files on the terminal device of the User. The Web Service Users may change these settings. The web browser allows to remove cookie files. It is also possible to block out cookies. Detailed information on this subject is contained in help or technical documentation of the web browser.
    7. The limitations in application of cookie files may affect some functionalities available on the Web Service sites.
    8. Cookie files placed on the terminal device of the Web Service User may be also used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Web Service Operator.
    9. We recommend reading the privacy policy of these companies to find out the terms of use of the cookie files used in statistics: Google Analytics Privacy Policy.
    10. Cookie files may be used by advertising networks, in particular by the Google network, to display advertisements adapted to the method of use of the Web Service by the User. For this, they may retain information about the User's navigation path or period of viewing a given web site.
    11. Concerning the information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user may view and edit information resulting from cookie files using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

Server Log.

    1. Information about certain behaviors of the users may be logged in the server layer. These data are used only to administer the service and to ensure the most efficient service of provided hosting services.
    2. The viewed resources are identified by their URL addresses. Moreover, the following may be recorded:
      • time of receiving inquiry,
      • time of sending reply,
      • name of the client station - identification made by HTTP,
      • information on errors occurred during the performance of the HTTP transaction,
      • URL address of the web site previously visited by the user (referer link) - if the Web Service was accessed though a link,
      • information about the user's browser,
      • information about the IP address.
    3. The above data are not associated to specific persons browsing the web sites.
    4. The above data ere used only for server administration purposes.

Providing access to data.

    1. Data are made available to third-party entities only within the extent permitted by law.
    2. Data which allow the identification of a natural person are provided only upon consent of this person.
    3. The Operator may be obligated to provide information collected by the Web Service to authorized entities based on legal requests in the scope resulting from the request.

Cookie files management - how to give and withdraw consent?

    1. If the user does not want to receive cookie files, he/she may change browser settings. We reserve however that disabling cookies necessary for authentication, safety, maintaining user preferences processes may hamper or in some cases even hinder the use of the web site.
